While hiking in Sedona, Az area I found this wash in a small canyon. It was late afternoon and the afternoon air vibrated with color. The crimson and greens were just stunning. The scene brought me a great rush of emotion. I immediately unpacked my painting gear and I created a small painting that was later used to create this larger painting.
The Warmest Glow In The Afternoon is 18″ x 24″ inches and painted in oil. It was painted on cotton canvas and stretched on wooden stretcher bars. The painting is unframed and will make a wonderful addition to your collection.
